Chase Hawks Rough Stock Rodeo

When the lights came up at 7:30 pm sharp in 1995, over 5,500 fans were ready for action; they’ve been ready ever since. The 27th Rough Stock Invitational starts at 7:00 pm. Held the Saturday after the end of the NFR to give some rest to the great animals that have been to the Finals, PRCA contractors will bring their best stock.

The cowboys, invited from the top American and Canadian PRCA standings have been pared down to 20 in each event. They will be drawn to ride for one of 20 team sponsors, one from each event. We have featured as many as five World Champions in a single event and as many as 12 of the 15 who just rode at the NFR. This is going to be good!

From the dramatic opening to the last re-ride, this is rodeo action at its best. With chutes at both ends of the arena, there is no bad seat. 20 bareback horses, 20 broncs, and 20 bulls will buck out in less than two and a half hours.

The world-class Annual Roughstock Rodeo brings cowboys and fans from throughout the US and Canada to Billings for the weekend. The rodeo is considered one of the premier rough stock events in the country!  The rodeo is preceded by the Cowboy Gatherin’ Dinner and Dance, and followed by a boot stomping After Party.
