MPRF Ranch Rodeo – Great Falls, Montana
The fourth annual MPRF Ranch Rodeo will be coming to Great Falls Saturday, January 16th at 10:30 am in the Montana Expo Park 4 Seasons Arena. It will be held in conjunction with the 37th Annual Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals, January 15-17, 2016. The MPRF Ranch Rodeo will feature teams of true ranch cowboys from across Montana demonstrating the true form of daily ranch work chores. Events in the ranch rodeo will include ranch bronc riding, team sorting, team branding and team doctoring.
Each team consist of 4 people with the number of teams being limited to 8. The top 2 teams from last year will get first chance to enter the Ranch Rodeo, leaving 6 spots open by lottery selection. Teams can contact Mike Gollaher by email at [email protected]. Entries are due by December 20th. Entries need to include team name, members’ names and a contact phone number for the team. The lucky teams selected by lottery will be notified by December 21st with payment due by January 1st. If payment is not received by this date, the next team on the list will be notified. Prize money will be awarded to the top teams with an added purse of $500. Prizes for the title of “Top Hand” and “Top Horse” will be awarded.
